BioMADE Technology and Innovation Project Call Collision

BioMADE, a biomanufacturing-focused Manufacturing Innovation Institute housed at the University of Minnesota, has issued a call for proposals for applied technology innovation projects that will advance the field of bioindustrial manufacturing. BioMADE expects to fund large, collaborative projects, especially university-industry partnerships, of more than $1 million per year for up to three years. Only BioMADE members may apply, but since UMN is a member, all UMN faculty are eligible to apply.

Preliminary proposals are due on December 21.

SPARC will be hosting a Collision to help potential teams prepare for this unique opportunity. Mike Smanski, BioMADE CTO and UMN faculty member in the Department of Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, and Biophysics, will explain details of the project call requirements, and SPARC staff will discuss the support services it can provide to teams preparing proposals.
